The Silkette™ blend is a Loving Sleep trademarked formula of long strand thin denier polyester fiber and natural latex, hand weighed and measured for every pillow. The long strand thin denier polyester fiber gives you the silky, luxurious feel of premium down — a true down alternative that is soft, light, and supportive without any of the allergens or inconsistency that natural down carries. The natural latex blended through it provides buoyant, resilient support and, critically, natural airflow. We found three important factors In creating the perfect K-Lex Pillow:

The first and most often talked about is the thickness or the effective height of the pillow. The average person sleeps on his or her side. The head needs to stay in a natural, neutral position properly aligned with the spine. Therefore the pillow should be no more than 2 inches thicker than the distance between the edge of your shoulder blade to the side of your head. 6 to 8 inches is the average distance.
